Why stay near the Bansbari gate: Most Manas safaris depart from Bansbari, so staying nearby means less pre-dawn travel time and more time in the park, also in between the safaris you may just walk on the boundary of tiger reserve. Sikhiri is a short drive from the gate, with jeep pickup from the resort arranged directly by the property. Our Safari arrangements include early morning Tea/Coffee and if it’s a long Safari then some packed breakfast.

What guests get: Modern cottages (Bamboo Architecture) with attached baths and 24-hour hot water, river or field views depending on the cottage, breakfast included and an on-site pool for downtime between safaris. The property also runs elephant safaris, raft safari on the Beki/Manas River. There is much more to activity for guests outside forest, Sunset view on Manas River, Bagrumba Dance performance from the local village team, village walk to nearby Bodo village and if guest desires then we also arrange meal at village house (authentic experience), Guests may rent bicycle and explore nearby market/villages/area themselves, Tea Estate is also worth a visit — activities that many hotels near Manas don’t offer directly.
